A Head of Talent and an AI trainer, with twenty five years working within People teams across technology, financial services, education, sport, fashion and retail.
As an experienced AI Champion, he understands the work you do day to day and can turn it into practical examples of where AI boosts performance and improves efficiency.
He sat on the advisory board of a 15,000 member HR network, alongside senior leaders from Lego, Santander, LV and Greene King.
What does your team need?
Start with the capability you want, not the course name.
AI Foundations
For teams that are new to AI or using it inconsistently. Learn how to choose suitable work, brief an AI properly, improve a weak first result and check what matters before relying on it.
They leave able to Brief, improve and verify useful AI work.
Built on RISEN™, a five part structure for asking, practised one part at a time.
Delegating Work to AI
For people already using AI regularly but mostly one task at a time. Learn how to hand over bounded recurring work with clear instructions, supervision and human sign-off.
They leave able to Delegate suitable recurring work without handing over accountability.
Opens by using what Foundations taught. A team already working that way can start here.
Applied AI for People Teams
For People teams ready to apply AI to real workflows. Take a vague AI idea, diagnose the work first, simplify it and design a safer, bounded test with clear human boundaries.
They leave able to Take one real People workflow from idea to a bounded, testable design.
The work comes from your team. Nothing is built in the room without a baseline.
Leading AI in People Teams
For Heads of People, HR Directors, Talent and L&D leaders and managers who need to make better decisions about AI without becoming builders.
They leave able to Decide where AI belongs, what should remain human and what evidence to expect.
No building. The exercises are decisions, not prompts.
Mark North Twenty five years in hiring and alongside People teams, now researching and
teaching what AI changes about the work. About Mark Need more than a workshop?
A workshop is a focused capability, 90 minutes to half a day. People practise it and leave with something they have made or decided.
A programme goes deeper: their own real work, tested, with evidence of what happened. You do not have to start at the beginning.
Applied AI Practitioner Programme
Use the method in your own work.
An immersive day for regular AI users and small People teams who want to diagnose, prototype and test a real low risk AI-assisted workflow.
Best for Teams that want deeper applied capability without creating a formal Champion network.
Applied AI Champion Programme
Use the method and help others.
Develop selected internal practitioners who can help colleagues diagnose AI opportunities, prototype safely, test, triage risk and hand work over properly.
Best for Organisations that want internal people capable of helping colleagues evaluate and progress AI opportunities.
Attendance does not equal certification.
Certified Applied AI Champion
Prove the capability independently on real work.
The two day Champion programme followed by a real work capstone, evidence gathering and formal assessment.
Best for Organisations that want demonstrated and assessed Champion capability.
Certification is earned through assessment, not awarded for attendance.
Compare the options
Certification appears once, on the assessed pathway. Everything else builds capability without a certificate.

Built around People work
Examples and exercises start with HR, Talent, People Ops, L&D and manager work rather than generic software demonstrations.
Start with the work, not the tool
Sometimes the right answer is AI. Sometimes it is a simpler process, software you already own, or no change at all.
Capability has to be visible
Participants create, test, improve and evidence something. Attendance alone is not treated as proof of capability.
Designed to survive the tools changing
The principles are work, instructions, sources, testing, evidence and human boundaries rather than one product interface.
The research underneath the training is published in full, free and without a sign-up. Read it first if you would rather.
Works with the AI your organisation approves
The training is built around durable principles rather than one product interface. Participants can use Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT or another suitable AI approved where they work.
No coding is required for the shorter workshops, unless a specific programme exercise says otherwise.
Participants should not paste sensitive People data into unapproved tools. Human judgement and specialist review stay where the work requires them.
Not sure which option fits?
Four boxes is enough to get a useful answer: your name, your work email, what you are interested in and what you want people to be able to do afterwards. The rest is optional and only makes the answer sharper.
We will recommend the smallest option that genuinely fits rather than pushing you towards the biggest programme.
